What Does the catalogue do?

Our catalogue is not only a database of all physical items held in the LRC but it also manages:

  • Your loans
  • Your requests
  • Our orders

The items we buy are recommended by your subject teachers for your subject, so do use the catalogue to find the best resources. If we haven't got what you want, please ask or make a suggestion in general.

You can recommend a book or make a suggestion by clicking on comment below.

What the catalogue doesn't do

It doesn't search the same way that google does, so you need to learn how best to use it. It searches for any word in the catalogue (but if inputting 2 words together they must be within 5 words of each other), so it is often best to use the advanced search and learn about the different fields you can use to search.

Go to the search tab for more information on this.
